What you get
You commission the design, not the sewing. That means an original costume drawn for your character, then the print-ready pattern for it, sized from your own measurements. A costume manufacturer prints the fabric and sews the suit from that pattern. Choosing your own maker is usually cheaper than buying a finished costume, and the design is the half that decides what it actually looks like.

- Tell us about the character. What it is for, the colours, emblem and feel you want, and any reference images.
- Mark replies with a quote. He confirms what is included and the timing.
- Mark designs the costume. Every custom design is original work drawn for your character.
- You receive a print-ready pattern. Delivered as a dye-sublimation pattern sized from your measurements.
- Have it made. A costume manufacturer prints and sews the suit from your pattern.

Do you only design superhero costumes?
No. Superhero suits are the specialty and most of the shop, but custom work covers any character that suits a printed, form-fitting costume. Tell us who the character is and Mark will say whether he is the right designer for it.
Can you design a cosplay costume for a character that is not a superhero?
Yes. Characters from myth and folklore, from games and anime, and characters you invented yourself are all normal custom requests. The process and the pricing are the same.

Yes. Original characters are the core of custom work. Send a description, the colours and the feel you want, and any sketches or reference you already have.
Can you work from reference images?
Yes. Attach them to the request form. Art, screenshots, photographs and rough sketches all help, and so do colour references or a mood board.
How long does a custom cosplay design take?
It depends on the design. Mark confirms the timing when he replies with your quote, so tell him on the form if you are working to a convention or event date.
